Greetings!  I AM Amy Hamilton, and as far back as I can remember, I have loved music, rhythm, movement and harmony.  From a very early age I played piano, sang in choirs, danced, and back when it was “cool,” I spent hours creating mix tapes of music from my vast collection of vinyl LPs.

In 2009, I initiated the co-creation of a small ensemble called Harmonyc Fuzion.  Our mission is to share “music that matters” through songs and chants that blend voice, harmony and sacred sound to inspire and touch the hearts of others.

For a number of years now, I have immersed myself into the meditative and healing power of The Yoga of Sound that can be experienced through sacred chant, vocal toning, and most recently through the vibrations of Crystal & Tibetan bowls, Chimes & Tuning Forks.  The deep restorative power of riding the gentle waves of healing sounds and vibrations brings a fullness and bliss to life that words cannot adequately convey.  It is a Sacred Gift…

Because I continue to collect music – now in MP3s –  back in 2012, I decided to check off my “bucket list” finally learning how to DJ.  It was then that DJ TaraVerde (Green Tara) took the stage to mix dance/movement music with a Positive Spin.  Recently TaraVerde hasn’t been out and about nearly enough and she’s ready to Play!

I am beyond excited to be offering an I AM Meditation-Sound Experience at this year’s festival.  Our Sound Journey will end Saturday’s yoga practices with a 30-45 minute meditative Sound Shavasana.  And who hasn’t wished for that at the end of a yoga class?!

We will intentionally connect with ourselves and in community through music, chant, silence, gentle movements and the soothing sound vibrations of Crystal & Tibetan bowls designed to draw you deeply into a relaxing and healing conclusion to the day.  This will be an opportunity to deeply unwind and give ceremony and sacredness to your yoga practice.

So bring your mat, perhaps a bolster and an eye pillow and come ready to immerse yourself in the Yoga of Sound!
